Losses can take many forms - from losing a loved one, loosing physical abilities due to disability, job loss, or needing to start fresh due to a move, separation, or divorce. Whatever the reason may be, the initial response to a significant loss is often overwhelming. While the grief process is different for everyone and is influenced by the circumstances of the loss, psychotherapy is an effective way to work through emotions, learn coping skills, manage stress symptoms, and face the challenges of a life forever changed.
