As valedictorian of both my undergraduate and graduate degree program at Washington University, I provide therapeutic and faith-based treatment with a focus on professional excellence. I have over 18 years of national and international experience working with individuals, couples, and families - six of those years were spent working exclusively with children and adolescents. Having trained with many mental health experts, I have completed additional training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Play therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Currently, I am in the process of attaining certification as a Gottman Therapist - the leading expert in the field of Couples Therapy.

In addition to receiving a specialization in Family Therapy from Washington University, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Academy of Certified Social Workers, and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

As a mother of a child with multiple, severe disabilities and life threatening medical issues I am intimately aware of how challenging situations affect a person and their family and what emotional pain feels like. I have learned to overcome extreme difficulties and it has undoubtedly made me a stronger person and a better therapist that can truly understand and connect with others. I have gained unique insight into how to rise above even the greatest of challenges and I want to help you do the same.
